pretty girl reading

Fine Books was opened in 1996 by Jackie and Dean Carroll. Originally located at 51st & Harvard next to Bodeans Seafood. Dean was the "Dean" in Bodeans. The Carrolls provided many good years of general reading for a loyal base of local customers. In 2011, Fine Books relocated to the lower level of the Promenade Mall (see map), just outside of Macy's. Current owners, the Burch family, purchased it that same year.

Fine Books has matured to become one of the finest and most interesting bookstores in Oklahoma. Fine Books houses an impressive collection of over 40,000 books on a wide range of subjects. In addition to its collection of general reading material, the shop also contains an inventory of collectibles, first editions, signed copies, and fine leather bindings. Monthly events, such as local author signings and wine and cheese events have added to the already fun experience of a visit to the shop.

Inside are the treasures of a lifetime. Books read by kings and presidents. Books that have been all but forgotten. Walking through the crowded aisles and looking at the over-stuffed shelves is like visiting old friends, and being introduced to new ones. Tulsa visitors, whether on business or just passing through, stop in just to see what's new. And they always find something they cannot resist. Now you can look through a large portion of our inventory right now via our online store.
